| | LOOKING BACK AT 2007
FIRST OF ALL, I CAN'T BELIEVE ANOTHER YEAR HAS PASSED. I FEEL SOMETIMES
LIKE I HAVEN'T CAUGHT UP WITH THE YEAR BEFORE THAT ONE YET. LET'S SEE…MY
DAUGHTER NICOLE GRADUATED FROM WAIAKEA HIGH SCHOOL AND IS NOW IN COLLEGE
GETTING THROUGH HER LIBERAL ARTS BEFORE SHE PURSUES THE X-RAY TECHNICIAN
PROGRAM. SO FAR SO GOOD WITH HER GRADES. (BETTER THAN I'D DO IN COLLEGE).
MY MIDDLE CHILDREN ERIKA AND AJ ARE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND DEFINITELY
KEEPING ME ON MY TOES!!! IT'S NEVER A DULL MOMENT WITH THEM AROUND. MY
BOSS AND FRIENDS KEEP SAYING HOW ERIKA IS A MINI-ME AND JUST LIKE HER
MOTHER. (HELP!!!) THAT SCARES ME A LOT!!! AJ IS TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH ALL
OF THE WOMEN IN THE HOUSE BUT IS HAPPY THAT HE NOW HAS A BABY BROTHER TO KEEP THE BALANCE.
MY YOUNGEST, AIDAN IS TURNING 2 THIS YEAR. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST HE'S
GROWING! HE'S DEFINITELY THE HEART OF THE FAMILY. EVERYONE ADORES AND
FIGHTS OVER HIM FOR PLAYTIME. HE'S CONSTANTLY SHOWERED WITH AFFECTION THAT
SOMETIMES I WONDER "IS THERE SUCH A THING AS TOO MANY HUGS AND KISSES? ARE
WE GOING TO TURN HIM INTO A NEEDY, CLINGY, ATTENTION SEEKING GUY?" PEOPLE
KEEP TELLING ME THAT THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH LOVE AND I AGREE.
HE'S BEEN SPENDING A LOT OF TIME IN THE MAINLAND AND EVERYTIME HE'S GONE I
FEEL LIKE I CAN'T BREATH. OK CHANGE THE SUBJECT!
NEW YEARS RESOLUTION? OH BOY! BE BETTER WITH MY MONEY AND FINANCES, MAKE
BETTER DECISIONS…HA HA!
THOUGHT FOR THIS YEAR…"IT'S NOT THAT WE FALL IN LIFE…IT'S THAT WE GET
BACK UP THAT'S IMPORTANT."

New year's resolution: Christmas savings
2x a month or every paycheck put something in your Christmas fund. Think about it...if you put for example $50 2x a month=$100 per month from January til October. That's 10months x $100= $1000 for just Christmas spending. NO CREDIT CARDS!!! Let's try it! It will make shopping so much
less stressful and fun!
Lookin back at 2006:
I think about all the events that happened
-I was blessed with the birth of my son Aidan
-Being able to reunite with my morning show partner Ke`ala
-Fun, laughs, and love from my children Nicole, Erika, AJ, Aidan, and
husband Aaron.
-My mom going into Hale Anuenue
-Meeting listeners of KWXX
Looking ahead to 2007:
- My youngest baby will turn 1
-My oldest baby turned 18 and graduates(Sob)
-My sister Karin will be able to devote more of her time to her own
business Permanently Yours" (permanent makeup).
-Get to meet more KWXX listeners
-My soul sister Debbie Weisgerber (Weiser) comes out of the hospital and continues her wonderful journey of motherhood
Make the World a Better Place?
If once a day, week, or month, EVERYONE would do something unselfish or nice for someone else I believe we could make a little difference. A stranger, friend, family member, or co-worker. Being nice is contagious. Have you ever let someone go ahead of you in traffic? Most of the time they'll in turn do it to someone right after. Even if it's as small as opening the door for someone, or saying "thank you" to the one holding the door open. Give a compliment to your Postal worker, Waitress, Teacher or baby sitter, Gas station attendant, Police, Fireman, Doctor, Nurse, cashier, Mechanic...Morning Djs (ha ha). Do it. Put a smile on someone's face today. By the way, thank you for listening to KWXX, we really appreciate listeners like you!
