Kona Community Hospital’s (KCH) Medical Oncology and Infusion Clinics are again accepting new patient referrals beginning Monday, November 21.
Both clinics had temporarily paused accepting new patient referrals in October due to staffing
shortages. This pause did not impact the clinics’ existing patients and did not extend to the Radiation
Oncology Department.
In a press release, Cancer Center Operations Manager, Joel Marcrum said,“We are pleased to say that we have resolved our staffing difficulties. We look forward to welcoming new patients at our medical oncology and infusion clinics. The clinics’ staff is committed to providing the best possible cancer and infusiontreatment to our patients.”
The KCH cancer center clinics’ hours of operation are:
- Oncology & Hematology Chemotherapy Infusion – Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Radiation Oncology – Mon. – Fri. 7:00am – 3:30pm
