All Solid Waste Transfer Stations Closed Across Big Island on July 21

On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, all solid waste transfer stations across Hawaiʻi island will be closed for the Solid Waste Division’s quarterly employee safety training.

The Reload Facility, located at the South Hilo Sanitary Landfill, and the West Hawaiʻi Sanitary Landfill, located in Waikoloa, will be open during regular business hours from 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. daily.
