72 New Statewide COVID Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 72 new cases of coronavirus with 6 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Monday, December 6, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  88,512

New Cases: 72

Deaths: 1,039

Daily Case Average: 88

Current Hospitalizations: 43

Positivity Rate: 1.4%

Fatality Rate: 1.2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1188

 

The DOH reports 8 new cases of coronavirus with 1 new COVID-19 related death on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 11,810

New Cases: 8

Deaths: 141

Daily Case Average: 11

Current Hospitalizations: 3

Positivity Rate: 2.2%

Fatality Rate: 1.2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 152

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 5

Total COVID Case Count: 3228

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 8

Total COVID Case Count: 10,492

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 51

Total COVID Case Count: 60,006
