Hawaiʻi Island police are asking the public with assistance in locating 18-year-old Luis Villalobos of  Hilo who is wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection with a third-degree assault investigation.

Villalobos is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He is also known to frequent Hilo and Puna.

The investigation stems from a reported assault on a male juvenile at a high school house party in Hilo on April 22, 2023.

The victim was assaulted by three male individuals and sustained multiple bruises and abrasions on his face and head.  Villalobos was positively identified as a suspect in this investigation.
