US has 25% of world’s 1 million cases

The Johns Hopkins Interactive COVID-19 Dashboard as of Friday morning, April 3, at 7 a.m. shows there are 1,066,706 known and confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide.  The United States has more than 25%  of those, at 258,214 cases.

There have  been 6,605 deaths reported in the U.S., attributed to COVID-19.  Those recovered, with no symptoms and testing negative for at least  72 hours, number 9,408 in  the U.S.

Worldwide, there have been 56,767 deaths, with 223,697 recovered.

Italy now shows as having 119,827 cases, and Spain, 117,710.
