Lt. Gov. Josh Green updates hospital info

Lt. Governor Josh Green spoke at Gov.  Ige’s Monday, April 6 press conference to detail the state’s hospital capacity as of today.  Lt. Gov. Green, who is also an emergency room doctor, said only a handful of those hospitalized with COVID-19 are on a ventilator.  He said most who do go on a ventilator stay on it to assist them with  breathing for a couple of weeks.

ICU Beds 338 106 31.3%
Ventilators 535 81 15%
Individuals hospitalized (COVID-19) 56
