Most state COVID-19 cases in ages 40-59

The State of Hawaii Department of Health has released statistics on the ages of those who have tested positive for COVID-19, based on the count of 371 cases on Sunday, April 5.

The bulk of the cases are in adults 40 to 59.  The State says 15 cases were in those up to age 19 (none of whom  required hospitalization), 119 cases in those 20 to 39 (3 of whom required hospitalization), 133 between the ages of 40 and 59 (8 of whom required hospitalization), and 94 people 60 or older. Fifteen of those required hospitalization.
