Hawaii State Department of Health is reporting 3 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, but at the same time has reduced the state’s –and the Big Island’s — case count by 1, due to updated testing information.

Two new cases are on O’ahu, and one on Maui.

The state’s total case count is 651, with 606 released from isolation, and 17 deaths.

O’ahu has 421 cases, with 398 released from isolation; Maui has 119 with 108 released from isolation; Kaua’i has had 20 total, with no active cases now.

There have been 54,014 COVID-19 tests performed in the state.  With 651 positive tests, that is a rate of just over 1%.
