Hawaii has added 8 new cases of COVID-19, all on O’ahu.  This brings the state’s total to 736.

Today’s statewide cumulative coronavirus cases total includes 501 on Oahu, 120 in Maui County, 82 on Hawaii island, and 21 in Kauai County, according to health officials. Kaua’i County has no active cases, Hawaii County has one.  As of yesterday’s detailed report (today’s is not yet available), Maui County had 7.  O’ahu, as of yesterday, had 78, so with today’s cases the island may have as many as 84 active cases.

The total also includes 12 Hawaii residents diagnosed outside of the state.
