The State Department of Health says as of Monday, June 29, when the State had 900 cases of COVID-19, 681 of them were in people 59 and younger.  But as has been the trend, the percent of those hospitalized is greatest in those 60 or older.  The number of cases in people 60 or older as of Monday was 219.

The chart indicates that our state is similar to others, in that younger people are getting most of the infections, whereas those older have the greatest risk from the virus.  As of Wednesday, July 1, the state has had 926 cumulative cases, with 185 cases still being monitored by the State Department of Health and 741 released from isolation.
