The White House COVID-19 Task Force briefings will resume from the White House, the first scheduled for today at 11 a.m. Hawaii time (5 p.m. EDT).  President Donald Trump announced on Monday he would resume the briefings.

The President has not participated in a briefing since late April, when in a briefing he suggested that ingesting disinfectant of some kind might be a way to ward off or cure COVID-19, and got significant pushback from medical experts around the country.  Since then, there have been only a few briefings, none with the President, and most from places other than the White House Press Room.
