Hawaii County Fire Department reports the brush fire that closed Highway 190 between Waikoloa Road and the old Saddle Road (that goes to Waiki’i Ranch) is now open.  The fire is 90% contained, meaning the Fire Department has a fire break around most of the fire area, and they believe they have contained the spread.
