US has 6.7M COVID and 199,300 deaths

The Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Dashboard for Sunday, September 20, at 5:22 a.m.:

Worldwide cases:   30,566,740     Worldwide deaths: 957,959

U.S. cases:   6,769,370   U.S. deaths:  199,300

According to the Dashboard, the reported worldwide case report increased by 262,067 in the last 24 hours.  Deaths worldwide increased by  4,887.

According to the Johns Hopkins Dashboard, the United States has added 38,717 cases in the last 24 hours.  In that time,  the number of reported deaths from  COVID-19 increased by 618.

In Hawaii,the state’s total COVID-19 cases stand at 11,326.  There are around 6,584 active cases in the state.

The Big Island has 639 cumulative cases of COVID-19, with around 184 active.

The State has confirmed 120 deaths from COVID-19.  The Big Island has lost 24 people to COVID-19, 22 of whom were residents at the Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home.
