Big Island adds 0 new COVID cases–state adds 90, all O’ahu

Today the State Department of Health reports there are zero new cases for Hawaii County.    The State has added 90 cases, all on O’ahu.  The number of active cases in the state according to the State DOH information is 1,856, out of 12,203 total.

For the Big Island, with 700 total cases, the number of active cases is now down to 80.  The island has suffered 28 deaths, although only 15 are yet noted on the State DOH report.

Required Hospitalization: 40
Deaths: 15

 

Honolulu County

Total Cases: 11,026
Released from Isolation: 9,204
Required Hospitalization: 721
Deaths: 107

 

Kauai County

Total Cases: 59
Released from Isolation: 56
Required Hospitalization: 1
Deaths: 0

 

Maui County

Total Cases: 388
Released from Isolation: 363
Required Hospitalization: 55
Deaths: 9

 

Out of state

Total Cases: 30
Released from Isolation: 0
Required Hospitalization: 2
Deaths: 1
