No COVID testing Tues Honoka’a, Thurs Waimea

Hawaii County announced late Monday afternoon that there will be no testing this week in Honoka’a, which was scheduled for Tuesday, nor in Waimea, which was scheduled for Thursday.

The new schedule, with changes noted in bold:

  • Postponed till further notice: Tuesday, October 6, Honoka‘a Sports Complex
  • Tuesday, October 6, University of the Nations Kona, testing for students, staff and close contacts only.
  • Wednesday, October 7, Keauhou Shopping Center, 9:00am-Noon
  • Wednesday, October 7, Civic Auditorium, Hilo, 3:00pm-6:00pm. Please enter from Kuawa Street entrance.
  • Postponed till further notice: Thursday, October 8, Waimea District Park
  • Friday, October 9, Keauhou Shopping Center, 9:00am-Noon
  • Saturday, October 10, West Hawaii Civic Center at 74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Highway in Kona, 9:00am-1:00pm.

No insurance is necessary to be tested, but please bring your insurance card if you have one.  No co-pay for individuals being tested.

Please be sure to wear a face covering at all times, and observe social distancing.
