The University of the Nations Kona confirmed Monday afternoon that the number of cases among its members and staff is 30, not 26.  There are 8 among staff or members who live in Kailua Kona, and 22 on the campus itself.  The University of the Nations spokesperson, Johnny Gillespie, said the discrepancy was due to a record discrepancy.  He also said all of these individuals remain in quarantine and are being closely monitored and only minor symptoms have been reported.

University of Nations says it has not any new cases confirmed on Sunday or Monday, Oct. 4 or 5.

All campus staff and students will be tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Mayor Kim said he got agreement from the University of the Nations leadership that all on-campus residents will stay on campus, and that only essential workers will be allowed to come and go from the campus.
