Mi’s Waterfront Bistro, a popular Kailua Kona restaurant located at Waterfront Row, is the latest Kailua Village restaurant to call it quits.  Mi’s has been in business since 2007, starting with a location in Mauka Kona before moving to the downtown Kailua Village location.

Owners, Chef Morgan and Ingrid Starr, posted this message on the Mi’s Facebook page:

“Mahalo Kona for providing us the opportunity to serve you over the past 13 years.

Through these recent months we have been able to spend a lot of quality time as a family. With heavy hearts, we have decided to close our doors.

Thank you so much for all your support! We are grateful, that Mi’s has been able to be part of this wonderful community!
