
The State Department of Health has confirmed 80 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, bringing the total to 18,741. These numbers reflect tests processed through Monday, Dec. 7. The State numbers now reflect statistics with a two-day delay.
The island of O’ahu has 45 new cases. Maui has 15 new cases. There are 7 new in Hawaii residents who are out of state, and 1 new on Kaua’i. There are no new cases on Lana’i or Moloka’i.
Hawaii Island has 125 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the island’s total to 1,652. There have been 49 deaths on the island from COVID-19, with 43 of them in the state’s official death toll of 262.
