Vaccines are coming, but don’t be scammed

As seems to be common these days, scammers jumped into action once two COVID-19 vaccines became available in the United States.

Hawaii is getting the vaccine from the manufacturers and will get the vaccines out through hospitals, health clinics, and the Counties with priorities as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.   You can’t get early access to a vaccine by getting your name on some special list, and you can’t pay to be put to the front of the line–among other things.  Ignore emails that purport to offer the vaccines….rely on your medical provider, the Hawaii State Department of Health, and Hawaii County’s official sources for the right information.
