Public Works Traffic Division Conducting Street Light Work This Week

The County Department of Public Works Traffic Division will be conducting Street Light LED conversions along East and West Kawailani Street and Kupulau Road beginning Wednesday, January 27 According to a press release from The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Public works, the project should be completed by Friday, January 29.

Weather permitting, work is scheduled to take place between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.  Two-way travel will be provided at all times.  While off-duty police officers will be posted in the work area to facilitate traffic movement, motorists are advised to drive with caution.
