DOH Reports 50 New COVID Cases Statewide

The State of Hawaiʻi COVID-19 Joint Information Center Daily Digest for Wednesday, February 24, 2021 reports 50 new COVID cases and 4 new deaths. This report includes cases up until Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website daily at https://hawaiicovid19.com/data-dashboard/

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts 

Total Cases  27,320

Deaths 435

New Cases: 50

Average Daily Cases: 51

Reported Cases in the Last Two Weeks: 684

 

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reports 2 new cases of Coronavirus with 2 people hospitalized on Hawaiʻi Island.  There have been no deaths reported in the last eight weeks.

 

Hawaiʻi Island Counts:

Total Cases: 2,236

Deaths: 53

New Cases: 2

Average Daily Cases: 2

Fatality Rate: 2.4%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 33
