Hawaiʻi County Police Inviting the Public to Talk Story Over Coffee in S. Kohala

The Hawaiʻi Police Department’s South Kohala Community Policing Section is inviting the public to join them for their next  “Coffee with a Cop” event on Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Spencer Kalani Schutte District Park, also known as the Anuenue Park, located at 65-1225 Lindsey Road.

“Coffee With a Cop” is a casual event with no specific agenda, instead it is an opportunity for community members to engage in conversation with their district police officers over a cup of coffee. Topics of conversation can range from discussing neighborhood and community issues to sharing personal stories.

Social distancing and mask wearing will be enforced at this event.
