Department of Health Reports 65 New Statewide COVID Cases

The State Department of Health reports 65 new cases of coronavirus.  This report includes cases up until Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:30 a.m.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS

Total Cases  31,446

New Cases: 65

Deaths: 474

Current Hospitalizations: 45

Total Hospitalizations: 2,414

Average Daily Cases: 82

Positivity Rate: 1.6%

Fatality Rate: 1.5%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1180

 

The Department of Health reports 2 new cases of Coronavirus with no deaths reported on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 2,644

New Cases: 2

Deaths: 53

Current Hospitalizations: 6

Total Hospitalizations: 127

Average Daily Cases: 8

Positivity Rate: 1.3%

Fatality Rate: 2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 106
