 Global Cases -167,434,110    Global Deaths – 3,475,915

Japan is currently in the midst of a fourth wave of COVID-19 infections and extended its third official state of emergency over the coronavirus pandemic.  The country’s fourth wave of infections has been blamed on a hasty attempt to re-start the economy, lax lockdowns, and pandemic fatigue.
