The Hawaiʻi Fire Department reports that Old Saddle Road, between Daniel K. Inouye Highway junction and Highway 190 junction remains closed until further notice as crews continue to fight a brush fire that began on Saturday, July 17.

More than 2,000 acres have been burned as heavy winds have made the fire hard to contain.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution while in this area.i
