On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, the Hawaiʻi Army Reserves (100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry “Go For Broke”) are transporting their wheeled vehicles from Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae Docks between 8am and ending by 5 p.m.

Convoy departure times will be staggered to prevent congestion along the highways, and assist the local community’s daily travels.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when passing or overtaking the convoys while U.S. Army convoy leaders are reminded to conduct pull-over drills to allow community motorists to pass the convoys in a safe manner.

The public is encouraged to call the PTA Public Affairs office at 808-969-2411 with any questions.
