DOH Reports 389 Statewide COVID Cases

The State Department of Health reports 389 new cases of coronavirus with 1 new COVID-19 related death.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Sunday, August 1, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  43,616

New Cases: 389

Deaths: 538

Daily Case Average: 349

Current Hospitalizations: 146

Positivity Rate: 6.2%

Fatality Rate: 1.2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 3802

 

The DOH reports 64 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 4,290

New Cases: 64

Deaths: 58

Daily Case Average: 73

Current Hospitalizations: 21

Positivity Rate: 7.7%

Fatality Rate: 1.4%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 789
