DOH Reports 647 New Statewide COVID Cases

The State Department of Health reports 647 new cases of coronavirus with 2 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Monday, August 16, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  52,846

New Cases: 647

Deaths: 554

Daily Case Average: 679

Current Hospitalizations: 319

Positivity Rate: 7.5%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 8536

 

The DOH reports 87 new cases of coronavirus and no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 5840

New Cases: 87

Deaths: 59

Daily Case Average: 111

Current Hospitalizations: 38

Positivity Rate: 7.3%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1465
