From 6am to 11am on Friday, August 20th and Friday, September 3rd, 2021, temporary trail and area closures will take place at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Park.  These areas include Hale Ho’okipa Visitor Contact Station and parking lot as well as the main trail from Hale Ho’okipa to the Honokōhau shoreline.

The reason for the closure is to provide public safety during the removal of invasive, non-native vegetation as the park will be using helicopter operations.

For further information please contact the Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park visitor center at 326-9057.
