DOH Reports 403 New Statewide COVID Cases

The State Department of Health reports 403 new cases of coronavirus with 9 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, September 22, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  77,369

New Cases: 403

Deaths: 747

Daily Case Average: 392

Current Hospitalizations: 265

Positivity Rate: 4.8%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 6777

The DOH reports 68 new cases of coronavirus with 3 new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 9,737

New Cases: 68

Deaths: 84

Daily Case Average: 61

Current Hospitalizations: 27

Positivity Rate: 5.7%

Fatality Rate: 0.9%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1,023

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 27

Total COVID Case Count: 2131

Maui

New COVID Cases: 48

Total COVID Case Count: 9265

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 248
