164 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Statewide

The State Department of Health reports 164 new cases of coronavirus with 6 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Tuesday, October 12, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  81,954

New Cases: 164

Deaths: 857

Daily Case Average: 136

Current Hospitalizations: 106

Positivity Rate: 2.6%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 2543

 

The DOH reports 46 new cases of coronavirus on Big Island with 2 new COVID-19 related death.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 10,573

New Cases: 46

Deaths: 108

Daily Case Average: 30

Current Hospitalizations: 12

Positivity Rate: 5%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 539

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 8

Total COVID Case Count: 2444

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 15

Total COVID Case Count: 9686

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 87

Total COVID Case Count: 56,708
