97 New Statewide COVID Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 97 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Saturday, October 23, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  83,448

New Cases: 97

Deaths: 888

Daily Case Average: 120

Current Hospitalizations: 79

Positivity Rate: 2.1%

Fatality Rate: 1.1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1665

 

The DOH reports 28 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 10,914

New Cases: 28

Deaths: 112

Daily Case Average: 29

Current Hospitalizations: 11

Positivity Rate: 4.2%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 409

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 7

Total COVID Case Count: 2542

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 8

Total COVID Case Count: 9839

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 42

Total COVID Case Count: 57,512
