Police Request Assistance Locating Wanted Kona Couple

Hawai’i Island Police are asking the public to help them locate Javelyn Tavares and Noland Wilson.  Both parties have outstanding warrants for their arrests in connection to a forgery investigation.  Wilson also has an additional outstanding warrant.  Both Tavares and Wilson are known to frequent the Kona area.

Tavares is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 175 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.  Wilson is described as 6 feet inches tall, 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and black hair.

Police ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wilson or Tavares to contact the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311 or contact Detective Tyler Prokopec by phone at (808) 326-4646, ext. 224 or by email at Tyler.Prokopec@hawaiicounty.gov.
