Hawai`i Island police have arrested H.C.C.C. inmate, Keahi C. Sale for second-degree escape.

Sale was located at a building on the 400 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo on Monday, December 6.  After receiving a tip from the public police officers responded and arrested Sale without incident.

On December 3, Sale had been reported as an escapee from the Hale Nani Correctional Center where he had been in custody for multiple violent felonies.  Sale was returned to Hawai’i Community Correctional Center.
