824 New Statewide COVID Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 824 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Sunday, December 26, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  104,597

New Cases: 824

Deaths: 1,082

Daily Case Average: 1416

Current Hospitalizations: 101

Positivity Rate: 12.2%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 14,514

 

The DOH reports 50 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 12,593

New Cases: 50

Deaths: 151

Daily Case Average: 72

Current Hospitalizations: 6

Positivity Rate: 7.8%

Fatality Rate: 1.2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 650

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 17

Total COVID Case Count: 3637

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 132

Total COVID Case Count: 11,573

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 613

Total COVID Case Count: 73,569
