1561 New COVID Cases Reported Across the State

The State Department of Health reports 1561 new cases of coronavirus with 3 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Monday, December 27, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  106,158

New Cases: 1561

Deaths: 1,085

Daily Case Average: 1485

Current Hospitalizations: 127

Positivity Rate: 13%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 15,781

 

The DOH reports 26 new cases of coronavirus with 1 new COVID-19 related death on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 12,619

New Cases: 26

Deaths: 152

Daily Case Average: 70

Current Hospitalizations: 9

Positivity Rate: 8.5%

Fatality Rate: 1.2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 666

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 58

Total COVID Case Count: 3695

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 148

Total COVID Case Count: 11,721

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 1322

Total COVID Case Count: 74,890
