3099 New COVID Cases Reported Across the State

The State Department of Health reports 3099 new cases of coronavirus with 3 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, January 12, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  160,031

New Cases: 3099

Deaths: 1,117

Daily Case Average: 3425

Current Hospitalizations: 346

Positivity Rate: 19.9%

Fatality Rate: .7%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 44,914

 

The DOH reports 97 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 16,856

New Cases: 97

Deaths: 159

Daily Case Average: 274

Current Hospitalizations: 41

Positivity Rate: 18.1%

Fatality Rate: .9%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 3657

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 37

Total COVID Case Count: 6017

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 336

Total COVID Case Count: 18,774

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 2564

Total COVID Case Count: 114,192
