4700 New COVID Cases Reported Across the State

The State Department of Health reports 4700 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Saturday, January 15, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  174,586

New Cases: 4700

Deaths: 1,126

Daily Case Average: 3705

Current Hospitalizations: 346

Fatality Rate: .6%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 50,944

 

The DOH reports 254 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 18,415

New Cases: 254

Deaths: 159

Daily Case Average: 314

Current Hospitalizations: 41

Fatality Rate: .9%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 4448

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 181

Total COVID Case Count: 6694

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 523

Total COVID Case Count: 21,009

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 3679

Total COVID Case Count: 124,141
