Nā Leo o Hawaiʻi Announces New President/CEO

The Board of Directors of Nā Leo o Hawaiʻʻi appointed Paul W. Horner its President and Chief Executive Officer effective February 1, 2022.

Horner, a graduate of Kamehameha Schools-Kapālama Campus and Northwestern University has managed major hotels on Lānaʻi, Napa Valley, and the Big Island.  In addition to his work as an executive director of a nonprofit organization on Kauaʻi he has worked as Managing Director of Marketing for the Big Island Visitors Bureau. He has also served in different capacities on local boards and commissions lending his expertise in team management, finance, customer service, and strategic planning.

In his role, Mr. Horner will oversee all aspects of Nā Leo o Hawaiʻi, including its broadcasting, production team, producer training, and education. Newly-elected board members Wally Lau, Mel Ventura, and Brandi ‘Kai’ Masaoka will join current Board Members Chair Gerald Takase, Vice Chair Jennifer Zelko-Schleuter, Secretary Sidney Fuke, Treasurer William Takaba, and Finance Committee Member Anne Chung
