As of January 27, the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo has updated its indoor spectator policy.  The updated policy allows for up to 500 fans in the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.  All attendees must provide proof of vaccination upon entry, masks must be worn at all times (with the exception of actively eating or drinking), and fans must physically distance themselves from other parties.

The University of Hawai’i at Hilo’s women’s and men’s basketball teams have two more home games in their 2021-22 seasons. The two final home game dates are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3 against Azusa Pacific University and Friday, Feb. 25 against Chaminade University (Senior Night).

Tickets will be sold at the door for cash only, guests will be able to choose from general admission and reserved seating. General admission ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens (65+) and $5 for middle/high school students. UH Hilo and HCC students will be admitted free of charge when they show their valid student ID. Reserved seating ticket prices are $12 for adults, $6 for senior citizens (65+) and $6 for middle/high school students.

Games will continue to be live-streamed. To find the livestream link head to the basketball schedule on game day and it will be available next to the game. Livestream links will be posted 1-2 days before the game.
