707 New COVID Cases Reported Across the State

The State Department of Health reports 707 new cases of coronavirus with 8 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, February 9, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  230,238

New Cases: 707

Deaths: 1,247

Daily Case Average: 795

Current Hospitalizations: 184

Fatality Rate: .5%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 15,951

 

The DOH reports 148 new cases of coronavirus with 2 new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 24,948

New Cases: 148

Deaths: 170

Daily Case Average: 116

Current Hospitalizations: 31

Fatality Rate: .7%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 2206

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 55

Total COVID Case Count: 10,764

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 78

Total COVID Case Count: 28,731

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 414

Total COVID Case Count: 160,390
