485 New Statewide COVID Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 485 new cases of coronavirus with 2 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, February 16, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  233,640

New Cases: 485

Deaths: 1,292

Daily Case Average: 436

Current Hospitalizations: 131

Fatality Rate: .6%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 8641

 

The DOH reports 120 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 25,448

New Cases: 120

Deaths: 178

Daily Case Average: 69

Current Hospitalizations: 18

Fatality Rate: .7%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1305

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 29

Total COVID Case Count: 11,219

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 62

Total COVID Case Count: 29,204

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 260

Total COVID Case Count: 162,202
