(AP) — Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi is isolating and working from home after testing positive for COVID-19. His office says he has mild symptoms and is in good spirits. Blangiardi is fully vaccinated and boosted against the virus. His office says the 75-year-old mayor was scheduled to get his second booster later this week. His office is notifying those who had close contact with the mayor in recent days. The mayor is expected to remain out of the office until sometime next week. This is the first time Blangiardi contracted COVID-19.
