The San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers met for the first time this season to play game one of a two-game series in Los Angeles where the Dodgers beat the Giants 3-1

Prior to the game, the Giants activated IF Kevin Padlo (#49) from Triple-A Sacramento.  IF Mike Ford was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento.

The Dodgers took an early lead in the second inning while the Giants kept it close the rest of the night however LA was triumphant winning game one of the series.

Game 2 of the rivalry series will take place today.  The game can be heard on KPUA AM 670 and 98.5 FM, first pitch is at 4:10pm HST
