The County of Hawaiʻi Office of Housing and Community Development and Civil Defense Administration will be co-hosting virtual resource fairs on hurricane readiness throughout the month of July.

As we enter the 2022 hurricane season, the county wants to encourage residents to be prepared.

The scheduled sessions will allow participants to hear from NOAA National Weather Service/Central Pacific Hurricane Center, Hawaiian Electric Company, County of Hawaiʻi Civil Defense Agency, and Office of Aging on hurricanes in Hawaiʻi.

Go to www.hawaiicounty.gov/departments/civil-defense for information on how to prepare for a Hurricane.

Session and registration information is as follows:

July 16 – 9am -10am –  https://tinyurl.com/hurricanereadinesssession1
