HPD Seeking Person of Interest in Hilo Theft Investigation

Hawai‘i Island police are asking the public to help them identify a man wanted for questioning in the theft of a wallet that was reported stolen at a business on the 300 block of E. Makaala Street on Friday, June 24.  The theft resulted in seven fraudulent credit card transactions that occurred at various Hilo businesses on the same day.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man pictured below is encouraged to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Sean Phelan of Hilo Patrol via e-mail at sean.phelan@hawaiicounty.gov.
