In the last week, the State Department of Health reported 2219 new cases of coronavirus with 13 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, August 24, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health Disease Outbreak Control Division.

 

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts:

New Cases: 2219

Total Cases 337,737

New Fatalities: 13

Total Fatalities: 1,632

Daily Case Average: 322

Positivity Rate: 8.6%

Vaccination Rate: 77.3%

 

In the last week, the DOH reports 282 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

Hawaiʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 282

Total Cases: 37,716

Daily Case Average: 39

Positivity Rate: 8%

Vaccination Rate: 69%

 

Maui County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 268

Total COVID Cases: 38,471

 

Kauaʻi County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 101

Total COVID Cases: 16,966

 

Honolulu County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 1520

Total COVID Cases: 234,203
