In the last week, the State Department of Health reported 1777 new cases of coronavirus with 12 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, August 31, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health Disease Outbreak Control Division.

 

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts:

New Cases: 1777

Total Cases 339,514

New Fatalities: 12

Total Fatalities: 1,644

Daily Case Average: 245

Positivity Rate: 7.3%

Vaccination Rate: 77.3%

 

In the last week, the DOH reports 205 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

Hawaiʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 205

Total Cases: 37,921

Daily Case Average: 31

Positivity Rate: 6.3%

Vaccination Rate: 69%

 

Maui County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 172

Total COVID Cases: 38,643

 

Kauaʻi County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 114

Total COVID Cases: 17,080

 

Honolulu County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 1246

Total COVID Cases: 235,449
