Pohakuloa Training Center

This January 14-15 and 21-22, PTA will host an Upland Game Bird Hunt in the KMA 1, 2, and 3 hunting units from 6:00am – 5:30pm.

Allowable harvest in the KMA 2 and 3 hunting units will only be California Quail, pheasant and wild turkey with standard Hawai’i State daily bag limits for those species. Harvest restrictions are in place due to ongoing Erckel’s francolin research in the KMA 2 and 3 units.

For more information on game bird research, please email pohakuloa.hunting@gmail.com or visit https://pta.isportsman.net
